Description:

PlaDyPos is unmanned surface vehicle. It is the vehicle that can move autonomously or be controlled remotely (manually) on the water surface. The autonomous USV is named after its initial application, Platform for Dynamic Positioning (PlaDyPos). PlaDyPos has diagonal length of 1 m, it is 0.35 m high and weighs approximately 30 kg with RAWFIE payload configuration.

The USV was developed at the Laboratory for Underwater Systems and Technologies at the University of Zagreb Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computing, Croatia. The vehicle in a different configuration, has been previously used for a number of different applications from diving support to underwater archaeology.

FLEXUS aims at extending RAWFIE experimental infrastructure by providing a set of innovative high maneuverable, small-sized, one-man portable Unmanned Surface Vehicles, which will support coordinated networked operations and novel above water communications technologies. This USVs swarm will extend and enrich the type of test scenarios for water-based Internet of Things (IoT) platforms, where Machine-to-Machine (M2M) and Internet of Moving Things applications may use long-range single-hop communications and multi-hop radio networks.

Description:

NIRIIS is a robust, multi-role, electric powered Unmanned Surface Vehicle designed for various applications including reconnaissance and remote surveillance but also utilized for experimental and research purposes. The vessels size is ideal to fit various interchangeable payloads and sensors including cameras, GPS and also custom designed payloads. The body and hull are made of high strength glass fabric composite material combined with high durable aluminum and steel parts.
