Trauma Training for Criminal Justice Professionals. The Center uses the Learning Community model, building and expanding communities of practice to increase access and improve quality of care. Participants are guided to identify trauma informed practices they can utilize in their workplaces. Participants have the opportunity to practice application of an array of trauma informed approaches to build resilience in children and reduce traumatic stress symptoms. We will be providing additional advanced training in applications of TF-CBT for Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgendered, and Questioning (LGBTQ) youth, Commercially Sexually Exploited Children (CSEC), youth of substance abusing parents, and Transition Age Youth. We provide services to those affected by crime and the resulting trauma, at no cost.
